DESCRIPTION: Bail licensees often face outstanding accounts receivables. Because of this, the bail licensee must be informed of current laws, regulations and industry practices regarding the appropriate manner in which to collect outstanding accounts receivables. In order for a bail licensee’s business to remain actuarially sound and to protect the citizens of California, bail licensees must successfully collect outstanding accounts receivables.

Education Update
California Department of Insurance requires 6 hours of continuing education each year. Beginning 2011 the bail license is issued in two year increments.
However, nothing has changed with respect to continuing education. A bail licensee is still required to complete 6 hours of continuing education each year.
